AGREEMENT TO TERMS

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”) and The Ocean to Door (“we,” “us,” or “our”), concerning your access to and use of the [theoceantodoor.com] website as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto (collectively, the “Site”).

You agree that by accessing the Site, you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with all of these Terms and Conditions, then you are expressly prohibited from using the Site and you must discontinue use immediately.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

Unless otherwise indicated, the Site is our proprietary property and all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics on the Site (collectively, the “Content”) and the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the “Marks”) are owned or controlled by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark laws and various other intellectual property rights.

PRODUCT INFORMATION & PRICING

We specialize in providing premium, wild-caught, smoked salmon products. We strive to ensure that all product descriptions, images, and specifications on the Site are accurate. However, we do not warrant that such information is entirely error-free. Product colours and appearances may vary slightly based on your monitor display. In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed for products listed at an incorrect price .

All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without notice.

HOLIDAY PRE-ORDER PROGRAM

Given the perishable nature of our products and courier delays during the holiday season, we offer a specialized pre-order program.

  • By placing a pre-order, you agree to pay in full at the time of purchase.
  • We will communicate the specific shipping date for your pre-order via email.
  • You acknowledge that the “Best Before” date is calculated to ensure peak freshness upon delivery in the designated holiday window.
  • All pre-orders are subject to our shipping and refund policies outlined below.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

  • Shelf-Stable Products: These items are shipped via standard parcel service.
  • Frozen Products: These items are shipped in insulated thermal boxes with ice packs via expedited service to ensure they remain frozen. We ship to the address you provide at checkout. Please ensure it is an address where someone can receive the parcel.
  • Pre-Order Shipping: We will ship all pre-orders on a specified date in early December to ensure delivery before the holidays. We are not liable for delays caused by courier companies, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances once the package is in the possession of the shipping carrier .
  • Separate Shipments: For orders containing both frozen and shelf-stable products, we reserve the right to ship them in separate packages to guarantee product integrity.

RETURNS, REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we generally do not accept returns or offer refunds for frozen or shelf-stable food items once an order has been shipped, unless the product arrives spoiled or damaged.

If you receive a damaged or spoiled product, you must contact us at info@theoceantodoor.com within 24 hours of delivery with photographs/Video of the product and its packaging. We will review each case individually and, at our discretion, offer a replacement or refund .

Pre-orders may be cancelled and fully refunded if the cancellation request is made at least 48 hours after the order is placed. Once we have begun processing your order for shipment, it can no longer be cancelled.

WHOLESALE & EXPORT INQUIRIES

We welcome inquiries from restaurants, cafes, retailers, and international distributors. Please contact us directly at info@theoceantodoor.com to discuss bulk pricing, product availability, and container order requirements.
